Welcome To Food Services!

 

The mission of the Food Services Department is to enhance and support the educational and student wellness goals of the Monrovia Unified School District. In pursuit of this mission, the Food Services Department acts as a partner in the district community which includes students, parents, teachers, staff, administrators and members of the larger Monrovia area. The Food Services Department is dedicated to offering nutritious and enjoyable meals while maintaining high quality food standards, fulfilling customer desires, partnering with the learning environment, generating income which can augment district resources, and meeting the needs of the district community.

The Food Services Department serves the highest quality food and beverages at the best prices. In addition to lunch, our schools serve breakfast and healthy after-school supper meals. A large variety of foods are offered everyday including fresh fruits and vegetables. As a department, we are proud to participate in the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, Child and Adult Care Food Program, Community Eligibility Provision Program, and Seamless Summer Feeding Option Program in accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture.   

In 2017-2018 MUSD's Food Services Department served:

63,717 Snacks

2018-19 we served even more meals.... and 2019-20 promises to be even more fruitful!
